I began my career in the real estate industry in 2008, ironically the year that the market was hit hard and the mortgage industry saw radical changes. My most rewarding past job responsibilities were those where I worked directly on revisions within the mortgage banking industry. The mortgage process can seem difficult and at times overwhelming. I am here to give my clients insight and encouragement as needed to fulfill their goals. I am passionate about easing the tensions that can occur on the road to home ownership and I’m grateful to work for a company that strives to restore integrity in the mortgage banking industry simply by taking the time to make a difference.

I began a career in the title insurance business quite by accident in 1981 and stayed there for the next 32 years eventually being hired to start a title company! Within five years the company had grown to 8 offices statewide and 55 employees. Creating a new company required I focus extensively on the areas of compliance, regulatory, legislative and human resources. For most of my career, I was on the board of the Alaska Land Title Association serving one term as President. During my tenure with the association my emphasis was on creating a continuing education platform and educational seminars. I served as a committee member for the American Land Title Association Education, and received my National Title Professional designation in 2014. I started with Guaranty Mortgage Service in November of 2014 and find the challenges of the mortgage industry very fulfilling.
